M House

M-House is a project currently in the development stage. Its design is located within the Canterbury region and looks to compliment its surrounding natural environment. The use of contrasting materiality helps this project to settle in its landscape and the simple plan layout helps to aid the living quarters as the central focus within the home.

Time was spent in ensuring sunlight into the space was a priority with a range of indoor/outdoor flow and shading where the extended kitchen dining wing could act as the main place of activity for friends and family.
